Following the 2012 LTER All Scientists Meeting, Dr. Karasti visited the SGS Research and Interpretation Center and observed SGS LTER field crew conducting long-term monitoring of small mammals with live-trapping in the nutrient enrichment study plots established in the late 1960s. This was the last summer planned for a large field crew supported by the LTER project.
