An article in the Oct/Nov issue of the National Wildlife magazine titled "Natural Inquiries" by Mark Wexler features the Central Arizona-Phoenix (CAP) LTER site. Based in Phoenix, AZ, CAP is one of only two LTER sites whose focus is urban ecology (the other is the Baltimore Ecosystem Study LTER site). You can read the article here.
