WORKING GROUPS

The triennial All Scientists Meeting (ASM) provides an opportunity for Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network scientists to meet and exchange ideas. An important part of this meeting is the development of working groups focused on information exchange, scientific interactions and planning for future research. Anyone associated with the LTER Network and its extended network of collaborators may propose a working group. Different from previous years, the working group organizer is able to select the time for a two or four hour session as well as the room assignment for the working group meeting. Working group requests will be reviewed by the ASM Program Committee, which reserves the right to reorganize the agenda, particularly for related group meetings, suggest that meetings be combined, or deny requests for similar or duplicate topics. Working Group requests will be accepted until July 31, 2015.

POSTERS

Posters are an important point of information exchange and interaction and their presentation is a popular feature of the evening mixer and poster sessions during the ASM. Posters will be displayed for the entire meeting, with each evening’s presentations organized by theme. Poster abstracts will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis up to a limit of 400 posters or until the final submission deadline of July 31, 2015. A student poster competition is included in the program, with cash rewards for the best poster and 4 runner-up selections. Participants willing to judge posters should express their interest by submitting their names to the LTER Network Office.

To submit a working group proposal or poster abstract, log in to the ASM2015 site with your LTER login credentials. If you don't know or have forgotten your password, please click on the "Request new password” link and follow the instructions; if you do not have an LTER ID, request one through the main ASM page.
