The LTER Network Office is set to broadcast the 2011 LTER mini-symposium live on the web.
The annual symposium, whose theme is "Understanding Climate Change Through Long-Term Ecological Research," will feature LTER scientists sharing the results of long term climate research with scientific colleagues and interested personnel from governmental and non-governmental agencies. The event takes place on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the National Science Foundation (NSF) building in Washington, DC (see http://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=118574 for details).
LNO is working closely with NSF media specialists to make sure the live webcast goes according to plan, but the presentations will also be recorded and posted on the web soon.
