The International Soil Reference and Information Center in Wageningen, The Netherlands, collects and disseminates scientific knowledge about soils, has a permanent display of over 120 soil monoliths, and maintains a collection of 5,000 soil maps and 15,000 color slides available to researchers by arrangement.
