Palmer Station's Bill Fraser will be a lead participant in an interactive K-12 science curriculum project when "Blue Ice: 'Focus on Antarctica'" launches its second effort this fall focuses on foodwebs and Fraser's krill studies.
Fraser interacted with students from New Jersey to Beijing during last February's weeklong "lesson", and the LTER Network Office provided background information and a map which will be used again this year.
This winter, the Internet project will focus on global warming and feature the dry valleys of Antarctica.
